About the course

Just as reading a book titled "How to Drive a Car" may offer the theoretical knowledge of driving but is vastly different from actually sitting in the driver's seat and navigating the road, Business Analyst (BA) training often equips individuals with theoretical concepts. However, many find it challenging to translate this knowledge into real-world project scenarios. They might grasp the overarching concepts but falter when it comes to the intricacies of business applications, the interconnectedness of functional components, and the practical analysis of system enhancement requirements. Especially in the Agile SDLC framework, which has been the dominant SDLC methodology in the past decade, new BAs find it tough to effectively write user stories and acceptance criteria. This leads to a visible lack of confidence during stand-up calls, affecting their morale. Our workshop intends to transition these BAs from "bookish knowledge" to "hands-on experience", making them adept in requirement analysis, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition. We aspire to reassure the team that they are in good hands with a well-prepared BA.
